Uniondale, NY (November 28, 2022) – The New York Riptide announced today their opening night roster. The 21-man squad will feature two goaltenders, nine forwards and 10 defenders. The team will open up the season on Saturday, December 3 at 7:30pm at Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum with Opening Night against the San Diego Seals. The 2022-23 season will be the third for the team in its history, with all home games at Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum. Eight of the team’s nine home games this season will be played on Saturday nights, and fans will have the opportunity to purchase tickets for as low as $22 plus applicable tax and fees. Tickets can be purchased at newyorkriptide.com/tickets and fans can take advantage of the team’s Cyber Monday offer of a free kids ticket (ages 10 and under) with the purchase of one ticket to Saturday’s Home Opener.

About the New York Riptide
The New York Riptide are a professional box lacrosse team based in Uniondale, New York. The Riptide are one of 15 teams competing in the National Lacrosse League (NLL), the largest and most successful professional lacrosse property in the world. The team has been competing in the NLL since 2019, plays their home games at Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum, and will return to the floor in December 2022.
