Riptide Re-Sign Defender Mackenzie Mitchell

Uniondale, NY (June 28^th, 2023) – The New York Riptide announced today that the club has re-signed defender Mackenzie Mitchell to a two-year contract.

The 26-year-old was drafted in the fourth round (34^th overall) of the 2017 NLL Entry Draft by the Vancouver Stealth and came on board with the Riptide for the 2021-22 season. During the 2022-23 season, Mitchell missed action with the Riptide due to an upper body injury but appeared in six games and tallied 14 loose balls and three caused turnovers.
