TRADE ALERT: Riptide Acquire Forward Mike Burke From Colorado Mammoth

Hofstra University Alum Joins New York In Exchange For Third-Round Pick in 2024 NLL Draft

NEW YORK (February 13, 2023) – New York Riptide General Manager and EVP Rich Lisk announced today that the team has acquired forward Mike Burke from Colorado Mammoth in exchange for a third-round pick in the 2024 NLL Draft.

The 6’1, 195-pound, Caledon, Ontario-native has appeared in 60 NLL games with the Mammoth, Knighthawks, Thunderbirds and Rush. Throughout his 11 seasons, he has registered 43 goals and 82 assists for 125 points. Burke played two seasons for Hofstra – 2009 and 2010.

 

The Riptide return to the Nassau Coliseum with three matches in March; Saturday, March 11 at 7:30pm vs. Philadelphia Wings; Saturday, March 18 at 7:30pm vs Albany Firewolves; and Saturday, March 25 at 7:30pm vs Georgia Swarm. Tickets can be purchased at newyorkriptide.com/tickets
