New York Riptide Set To Play In Inaugural Unboxed Series Against Toronto Rock

Uniondale, NY (November 16th, 2023) – The New York Riptide is set to make history with their upcoming participation in the 2024 Unboxed Series game against the Toronto Rock. On February 16th, at 7 pm, the Riptide will take their home game from the Nassau Coliseum to Place Bell, Laval, QC, bringing professional box lacrosse to Montreal, for just one night.

The Unboxed Series is part of a greater initiative through the National Lacrosse League to bring the game of box lacrosse to more communities. The New York Riptide are equally committed to growing the sport of box lacrosse, especially at a grass roots level. Prior to this historic game, the NLL will host instructional clinics among other pregame activations at Place Bell.

“We are very excited that the league has scheduled us to participate in the inaugural Unboxed Series game,” said Riptide EVP & General Manager Rich Lisk. “This is a tremendous opportunity for our organization and a testament to the hard work our owners, staff, coaches and players put in everyday to make the Riptide a premier franchise in the NLL. We look forward to showcasing our team to the City of Laval and Montreal.”

New York Riptide individual game tickets go on sale today, November 16th at 7 a.m. and can be purchased here. Fans that wish to travel for the 2024 NLL Unboxed Series, can purchase tickets today at 12 p.m. at evenko.ca.
