Riptide Ink John LaFontaine to Three-Year Deal

Uniondale, NY (August 8^th, 2023) – The New York Riptide announced today that the club has agreed to terms with 6’1, 215lbs. defenseman John LaFontaine on a three-year contract.

LaFontaine, 33, has spent 12 seasons in the National Lacrosse League, winning two championships with the Rush organization in 2015 & 2016. The right-handed defender posted a career high 14 points (4 goals, 14 assists) with the Albany FireWolves last season.
