Riptide Re-Sign Defender Jordi Jones-Smith

Uniondale, NY (June 20^th, 2023) – The New York Riptide announced today that the club has re-signed defender Jordi Jones-Smith to a two-year contract, pending league approval.

The 28-year-old was drafted in the sixth round of the 2015 NLL Entry Draft by the New England Black Wolves and was acquired by the Riptide last offseason in a deal with the Saskatchewan Rush. The Whitby, Ontario native appeared in 12 games for the Riptide during the 2022-23 season, recording two assists, 26 loose balls, and five caused turnovers.
