Riptide Re-Sign Netminder Cam Dunkerley

Uniondale, NY (July 31, 2023) – The New York Riptide announced today that the club has re-signed 23-year-old netminder Cam Dunkerley to a one-year contract, pending league review.

A product of the Orangeville Northmen/Victoria Shamrocks Jr. A systems, Dunkerley was drafted in the third round, 42^nd overall, by the Saskatchewan Rush in the 2019 Entry Draft. The Orangeville, Ontario native joined the Riptide as a free agent early last season, making his debut with the team in March; a 48 save 13-10 win against the Philadelphia Wings. Dunkerley appeared in nine games with the Riptide in 2023 posting a .774 save percentage and a goals against average of 11.69.

“I couldn’t be more excited to have the opportunity to play with the Riptide again this year,” said Dunkerley. “I strongly believe in the group we have and have high expectations for myself and this team this season.”
