Riptide Sign Matt Anderson to Two-Year Contract

Uniondale, NY (August 11^th, 2023) – The New York Riptide continued a busy day of signings, locking up right-handed forward Matt Anderson to a two-year contract.

The 24-year-old Stony Brook University graduate spent four seasons with the NCAA DI Seawolves Lacrosse Team. Anderson, a Burlington, Ontario native, was drafted by the 33^rd overall by the Philadelphia Wings in the 2022 Entry Draft, and acquired by the Riptide in a three-way trade with Philadelphia and San Diego last week. Anderson spent parts of six seasons with the Oakville Buzz and the Burlington Chiefs of Ontario Jr. A Lacrosse League.

The  5’11, 185lbs. forward will report to training camp in November.
